The tournament will be played in two stages. In the first group stage, each team will play three games in a group of four, with the respective winners and runners-up advancing to the semi-finals and ending with the Final Match.
The All Whites will take part in the competition as the 'OFC Champions' together with the host nation Russia, the reigning FIFA World Champion (Germany) plus the holders of the FIFA Confederations Championships - Portugal, Chile, Mexico, Australia and the yet to be announced CAF Champion still to be announced.
